CLSA reveals increased scores of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular with the existence of Reliance Jio’s competent offers Recently, the brokerage CLSA has revealed the top ranked telecom operators in which the leading telecom operator in excellence, Bharti Airtel is ranked first, followed by UK-based Vodafone’s Indian arm and third ranked is Aditya Birla’s Idea Cellular. The rise seems to be extended to 12% during the second part of the year 2016-2017 though there were Jio’s unlimited offers and schemes prevailing. Reliance Jio had 93 million additions and now stand more competent with more than 109 million customers. This was due to the promotional offers and unlimited voice and data usage by the new entrant. Though the situation was not helping, the top three officeholders provided their customers alluring and attractive as well as cost effective and multipurpose offers and schemes with seamless connectivity and retained the subscriber base. It is reported that a 12% year-on-year rise in subscriber add-up to 39 million during the period of second half of the year 2017 fiscal. Hong Kong based brokerage CLSA also mentioned that smaller telecom operators lost about fifteen million customers during these hard competition occurrences. The Tata group’s Tata Teleservices is an example with the reduction of nearly eight million shifting to Jio’s offers. It is reported that the total mobile subscriber add-ups in the second half rose more than three times to 116 million from 37 million a year ago, also motored by Jio’s 93 million users add-up. The high additions by the three and Jio’s add-ups highlight the rush of multi-SIM utility, CLSA exclaimed. It also stated that there is high penetration of 4G device in urban areas and Jio services are highly being opted for the same. But Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular topple Reliance Jio with remarkable scores and subscriber base. Congratulations on the same.
