Because north india is underdeveloped in term of infrastructure. its happening only in North India due to this mobile connectivity isn't available in remote areas
also BSNL offers maximum coverage due to its wide spread infrastructure. That's why reason why BSNL is recommended by peoples

if you use postpaid then you have to give all information plus address verification that carried out by services provider

I don't understand it completely, though. If that is the case, one can also choose a prepaid plan and enjoy the good service. We can never know when the reception goes down. We are at risk of using more data, which increases the amount paid at the end of the period.

That's the risk we have to take in an underdeveloped part of the country. You run the risk of paying more for a more assured connection. You can pay less, but the service is less sure.

Of course, BSNL network is opted by most when travelling to the still developing regions of India. at present, infrastructure is equally good in all other network service providers and so you can also go for others like Airtel.

Postpaid plan? We use up more data resulting in paying up more... watch out for that
